These are the gifts of life that we believe in. A Flock of Chickens: Helps families and community groups to raise poultry and sell surplus stock and eggs in the marketplace. Goats: Goats are hardy, reproduce quickly and can be raised in many climates to produce staple items such as milk, cheese and manure for farming. Better Yet, how about a Complete Care Package: Three goats and one pig; clean water for a family; vitamins & preventive medicine for five children; care for four moms & their newborns; and two micro-credit loans for women. Weaving Hope!
The artisan basket weavers belong to a women's cooperative, which helps them combat poverty. Authentic basket weaving provides these women with meaningful employment and a way to take care of their families.
